TTC after 35

feel like a newb...

so, I had cramps this morning.....  went to the bathroom around lunchtime, had a little pink spotting....  took 2 ibuprophen at lunch.... no spotting since then....  so, I'm feeling like is it AF?  Is it (here's the newb part) implantation spotting?  Also very emotional today, crying for no reason, not wanting to do anything... should have gone to church this morning, should have gone to the gym....  I want to eat everything in sight...  UGH!!!

OK, vent over for now.....

Re: feel like a newb...

  • How many DPO are you?  Implantation usually takes place between 6 and 12 days DPO and then it takes about 2 days to produce enough HCG for a + HPT

  • Ok those sound like promising signs. Sending thoughts and prayers that this is your BFP cycle.
  • Hello DPO buddy!

I feel like a newb every month.  Every month it's something different.  Lately it's been lack of any symptoms - which is what happened last cycle.

Symptoms look good, your chart looks good - it could be THE cycle!  Fingers crossed for you!!  (and me!)

  • I think it could be!! :)
  • If you think it could be implantation, stay away from the ibuprofen and stick to tylenol.  Fingers crossed for you.  FWIW, the first 6 weeks or so of my BFP was like having constant AF cramping.  No implantation spotting, but some get that and some don't.  Good luck!
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
