DS has bitten off the tops of all of his straw sippies. He doesn't like the hard spout ones and I was just going to buy the replacement straws, but they're just as much as buying new cups. Is there an alternative? He's always been a biter, so I don't think it's going to end anytime soon.
Re: Is there a "chew-proof" straw sippy?
We use the Munchkin sippies with the flip-top silicon straws and they hold up beautifully. They're kind of a pain to assemble and disassemble, though.
I also keep a bunch of the take & toss straw sippies on hand, but DD1 always flattens out the straws from biting them.

They're not cheap, but the foogo canteen with straw is pretty tough. (I think they call it the tritan)
