I ate chocolate chip cookies for breakfast this morning, and now I feel horribly guilty that my lack of nutritious meals for every meal is going to screw up my baby. Please tell me some of you ate not so great things during pregnancy and had a beautiful, healthy baby anyway.
Re: c is for cookie
You are fine. My 1st tri and well into 2nd I hardly ate at all. I couldn't hold anything down. Just make sure you taking for prenatals.
We won't discuss the several times I ate a whole box of ice cream sandwiches.... I hardly ate during the first trimester and I only gained maybe 10 pounds.
I had a healthy baby that weighed almost 10 pounds, so clearly she didn't suffer from my bad habits.
my ob told me to try and eat well, but rest assured, babies are like tape worms and if you don't feed them something nutritious, they'll get if from your body. they take it first , then you get it.
don't feel bad. eat well when you can.

i lived off of potatoes for the first 25 weeks (thats a slight exaggeration but somewhat true) because i was so sick and nothing else tasted good.
my doctor said to try my best to eat good but it was better to eat SOMETHING than nothing.
after i stopped puking, all i ever wanted was cake, cookies, etc. I pretty much lived on canes chicken tenders and fries, and sweets.
