My DH is in for a world of pain. He was supposed to be home 40 minutes ago to drive me to my mom's house, so my mom, my aunt and I could go to my cousin's shower and have a lovely, girly, baby-free day. I am supposed to be in their car, on the road, right now, but I'm not.

Why, you ask? Because although DS was up at 3 am with a cold this morning, DH left at the crack of dawn to go play paintball. I am totally fine with his doing this. Boys will be boys and all that crap. But I fully expect him to be back when he says he will be. Seriously. Is that so difficult?

I'd be really upset. Missing a girls' day w/o the kids would require some major a s s kissing.

Hopefully he's almost home and you can still make it for most of the shower.

hopefully you can still go AND I think you are now owed 1 more girls day even if you do make the shower:)  

*also....you should be allowed to hit DH w/ paintballs as payback

I am seriously, seriously furious right now. I have no idea where he is. He left his effing cell phone here. The only thing that is stopping me from flying into a blind rage is the possibility that he was in an accident or something.

Nope, he just strolled in the door, not a scratch on him. He is going to pay.

I just want to know how much butt kissing is going on right now. Is he covered in guilt?

I made it to the shower!

His tardiness was only 1/3 his fault.

 I'm still annoyed that he never brings his cell with him and told him from now on he needs to have it, and he's said he's not going to try to cram guy stuff in on days when I already have plans anymore.
