I went in this morning for a follie check, hopeful that we would get the green light to trigger and FWP this weekend (because that's what the nurse told me to anticipate). Yeah, not so much... not at all.
I have one follie on one side that's 11, and one on the other that's 10 - and those were the only measurable ones (they don't measure until they're 10... there were many more on each side, just small still). Definitely nowhere near O time.
It's been 9 days since I took my first Clomid pill, so I guess I was expecting something a little more exciting than that. Plus, I've got a bunch of O signs, so my body is still eff'ing with me - despite the Met and the Clomid. The tech said that she'd expect them to be a little bigger at this point in a Clomid cycle, but that they weren't cause for concern just yet.
I go back for another u/s on Monday (yay, another $100 :-/) and we'll see where we go from there. The tech said that if they still seemed to be slow growing, they might increase or give me more meds (anyone know what these might be?).
All in all, this gets a big from me.
ETA: They just called to tell me that my Estrogen is 98, and my lining is 11.5 and both of those things are great... so pick up your game follies! >:O
Re: A non-awesome update
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

I'm so sorry, hon. I hope your next u/s brings far better news.

Hoping your follies get their little butts in gear. If you do need to take another med...it might be something like Bravelle...which is an injectable form of clomid but reacts faster than a pill.
GL on Monday!!
Dear Em's Ovaries,
Come on, you know the drill. I know it's the weekend, but we need you on your A game. Clearly, all of the other parts know their jobs and are doing them well. We're all waiting on you guys.
Now, we are not asking much here- just for you to contribute. You know we can't do it without you. And making your host pay for multiple ultrasounds is a little dramatic, don't you think?
So here's the plan- you have some catching up to do. Get after it- the Bump Aunties expect significant progress come Monday.
That is all.
Love,
Bump Auntie Danielle
