I love to read, and I would love to read some good pregnancy material, like the book 'What to Expect'. Except, not that book, I have heard not so good things about that one! But I love Books, I prefer natural methods to traditional medicine, and other things like that.
If you have any recommendations, I would love them!
Thanks in advance, and I can't wait to start reading!

Both are more about childbirth than pregnancy but also cover prenatal stuff.
SAHM to two sweet girls, both born at home; Baby #3 in 2013!
Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy by Vicki Iovine or something like that
Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy (just for fun)
Great Expectations by I forgot who
I had a natural birth with DS and hope to do a homebirth with this one. Here are some of the books I liked the most:
My main pregnancy "textbook" is Penny Simkin's "Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn."
For names, I really liked "The Baby Name Wizard" -- it has names grouped by different personalities/sounds, and when you find one name you like, it suggests similar or sibling names.
For childbirth, I loved Ina May Gaskin's "Ina May's Guide to Childbirth" - it has some great things to know, like how your body needs to feel safe and relaxed or it can slow your labor. It's really a must-read on my list, and it really helped me feel ready for the birth.
Once you get to infant reading, I liked the big Dr Sears book as a "textbook", and also "Happiest Baby on the Block". Then "Child of Mine" was great about feeding - more for solids, later on, but it also had a chapter on formula feeding, which I had a hard time finding anywhere, since everything is so focused on breastfeeding.
Oh, and for fun, I liked Anne Lamott's "Operating Instructions" -- her journal from her son's first year.

the BEST book ever!!!
My DH and I read this together every night. Instead of a week by week it is a day by day of what your baby is doing, childbirth in other cultures, parenting tips, all sorts of things from day one to your due date!
I love it because DH and I don't go to bed until we've "read baby" for the day. if NOTHING else that is our us time for the day! I just hit week 29 today, I am so sad that it is almost over, but so happy that it's closer to the day I get to meet our daughter!! AND as you read it you get a good visual on how long you have left because the pages get less and less.
Sorry I am ranting, I love this book though
