Hi Ladies! I am new to the area and I am looking for a caring, female OB/GYN that has privileges at Morristown or Overlook. Any recommendations? Also, which is better - Morristown or Overlook? I've heard good things about both. Thank you so much!
They are both great and both belong to Atlantic Health. The only reason I would say that Morristown is better is they have a great NICU unit. Morristown is a much bigger hospital also.
I just delivered my daughter at Morristown and I do not have one bad thing to say about anything. The nurses were great and friendly and were there if you needed them in a hurry.
I go to Dr. Matthew Iammatteo and Dr. Jenna Belish. Dr. Belish is new to the practice, but I saw her during my pregnancy and thought she was great.
I haven't delivered yet, but I also go to Dr. Matthew Iammatteo and Dr. Belish, so far love their practice. He comes very highly recommended, and she is new to the practice.
look a few posts down there is a post asking the same question- i gave a big review about Dr. Bissinger and Flores- they share calls with Immateao. Bissinger has a bit warmer of a personality- Immateao is great but more of an "all business" type of guy. I have met him... know many friends who go to him- who have also met Dr. Bissinger and this is the comparison they always get.
I go to Dr. Alissa and Gary Kaye in Cranford. They are a father, daughter practice and I can even tell you how great Alissa is. Return calls quickly or gets right on the phone when you call and very caring. They are affilated with Overlook.
I will be seeing Dr. Bellish on Thursday for my four week checkup
Yes, Dr. I seems all business until something goes wrong. I had a very difficult loss last year and he was very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Not what I expected from him, but exactly what needed. I couldnt be happier with the practice.
Ive seen Dr, Bellish once so far, and was hesitant to go to the 'other' dr. However, am very happy with her. I think she adds good balance to the practice
IMO I'd stay away from MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine - Morristown/Overlook). You are only seen by a Dr. when something is wrong. And in my experience the perinatologist's are not as experienced as they should be.
With Dr. I's practice he allows you to go to St. Barnabas' ultrasound/perinatologist. Which I go to even though I have a copay. The doc's there are wonderful. The head of the office (Dr. Smith) is one of NJ best Dr., as is Dr. Iammatteo.
