I love the names. I can say now I'm really glad you changed your mind from Eleanor; I love Charlotte and Elizabeth together--just a beautiful combination.
Congratulations . . . but they were so early! I hope they're doing well? My thoughts will be with you and your little ones. Keep us updated, please: )
And how unbelievably considerate of you to ask after me at such a time--I'm doing well. Very thankful I have a job I can do while lying about at home, so I can relax and stay calm.
They were extremely early! I feel so unprepared now, because I expected more time
As of right now they are doing well & are pretty darn cute if I don't say so myself. Ha.
Lottie still has a level 2 IVH (brain/bleeding), but it is much better than two days ago when it was level 3.
Elizabeth is doing better also, and the only thing that stands out is her PDA, which is where one of the vessels in her heart has not fully closed.
They are both on venilators, etc.
Of course I would ask! I've been praying for you, and wanted to make sure you were doing well And to be honest, all this medical jargon has made my brain start to "hurt". So I enjoy seeing how others are doing!!
Elizabeth has *tried* to open her eyes, but it is still more peeking than anything. It's like when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night & turn on the lights. Your eyes try to shut because they hurt. At least that's how DH described it. Haha. Lottie hasn't tried yet.
I haven't heard them cry yet. With the masks they have to wear they can not really make any noise, but when they do it sounds like grunts & meowing.
