Diaper rash from juice????

DD came home from day care with a horrible diaper rash. My DH had gotten her ready this morning and said it wasn't there when he changed her, although I honestly don't know if he would have even noticed. I was trying to figure out where it would have come from, then remembered that I sent some juice with her to day care. I use the Gerber baby juice, either white grape or pear, and when I make it I always dilute it down. I am wondering if the day care lady didn't dilute it and maybe that is where the rash came from??? Anyone else's little one get a bad diaper rash from juice?

possible, but I believe that is more common with citrus juices (orange, grape fruit).  They can also get diaper rash from having a wet diaper for too long, although most day cares have guidelines that they are supposed to change their diapers every so often.

When my DD was younger she would get awful rashes ALL.THE.TIME.  Once it got bad and was breaking down, turned into yeast infection.  I took her to dr and he said that juice can cause it.  We cut juice out completely (we were also diluting it) and she still had a few rashes her and there but not as many and to the extent of that.
