How tall was your LO when you went from rf to ff?

I know that the longer you keep them rear facing, the better....and that is my plan.  And I know a lot of questions have been asked about how old your child was when you turned them...but how tall were they.  Garrison is only 13 months but she is 32 inches tall....I wouldn't say she is uncomfortable yet but I think she is getting there.

So how tall were they when you made the switch?  Thanks!

Wow! she's tall!  DD just hit 30 inches but I can see that she has a lot more room in our Graco My Ride than she does in the Marathon.  Is your DD's height more in the legs or torso?  Some seats do have bigger seat pans to make them comfier longer -- it's a thought if you wanted to keep her RF.

Don't know yet!  FWIW, Kira is 34-35" and still rear-facing.

Ethan has to cross his legs. As long as she isn't too tall for the seat (generally an inch below the shell, but check manual) she is not uncomfortable, she will adjust.

And wow! she is 13 months!!

just over 2 yrs old and almost 3 ft tall. (34"?) Her knees were folded up, but she didn't care.

We haven't switched DS yet and he was 35" tall at his 12 month appt. He's probably slightly taller now at just about 14 months. His legs aren't cramped up or anything and he doesn't have to cross them. We have an Evenflo Symphony 65 which is more roomy than the initial britax roundabout that we had for him and he HATED!!! (so we got rid of it and got 2 Evenflo Symphany 65.

Ava is 35".  But, we had to turn her because of the weight limit.  She was actually still pretty comfortable rear-facing -- just crossed her legs.
