Re: ****SarahP*****

  • Sorry I stepped away for a bit. Its called bacteria vaginosis (bv). It is super common and is just the imbalance of bacteria in your vagina (like a yeast infection is the imbalance of yeast). I happen to get it pretty often just because I am lucky (ha) and really sensitive down there. It is more common is women of child bearing age and pregnanct women because we have much more discharge, hormones are going crazy and swollen, so more susceptible to bacterias. When I had them in the past, I usually never had the odor. I had some itching or irritation, but mainly frequency to pee. Like I would go and feel like I had to go again immediately after. BV is also known for having a yellowish tint to it. If you are concerned, ask them to test. It is so easy and simple. I wouldnt have known I had it this time unless I was having the contractions and cramping. It can cause pre term labor if left untreated. I dont mean to scare you. I would just keep an eye on it?GL!
