Where do you trigger?

The nurse said to do it in the thigh or stomach. Now, one is obviously a muscle and the other, well, fat. Is it better to do it in a muscle or does it really not matter? If it doesn't matter, which hurts less?

"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." -- Dale Carnegie
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." --Thomas A. Edison

I've only done it in my stomach and last nights trigger didn't hurt at all (I used Ovidrel).  Hope no matter what you decide, it is painless!:)

Both areas are considered SubQ (in an area of fat before the muscle).  I have more fat on my belly area than my thigh so I choose the belly.  The trigger shot is pretty painless.  The needle is really small.

My RE said it's usually easier if you do it in your stomach. I guess it's not as tender as if it were in the thigh. I haven't triggered yet, so I don't have an opinion yet.

I took mine yesterday in the stomach. It was really no big deal, pain wise.

I do mine in the arm.  All my other sub-q shots were in the arm or thigh.  No idea why my doc doesn't let me do them in the belly.
