XP- Paragard ? (TMI)

I just got the paragard on Wednesday. I bled A LOT right after insertion but by that night I was no longer bleeding.

After my shower yesterday I felt to feel where the stings were so I knew what was normal because I should be starting my period next week. Well the strings are almost hanging out of me! They are less than an inch from my opening. I have no discomfort and all cramping has stopped.

Is this normal? Should I call my dr. to have them check it. 

I really want sex! I haven't been able to have it all last week waiting on insertion and now I'm nervous to in case something is wrong!

I would call your doctor and explain what you did in this post. Sounds like the strings might be a little too long.

I would call.  I doubt they left the strings that long on purpose.
