Progesterone supps - a Q.

Is there any reason to continue after 12 weeks? I hit 12 on Sunday & have my first MFM/perinatologist appt on Monday. They said to continue till I see them & they'll give future orders, but I'm hoping I'll get to stop on Monday. They've been (three!) lifesavers so far, but I'm ready to be ooze-free tyvm.

I have no idea.  Are you going to be doing progesterone shots at 14 weeks?

ETA by doing I mean starting.

No one has said anything about shots. I wonder if that's something contributing to the current wait-and-see order.

I stopped my progesterone supps at 11 weeks.  The MFM and RE both said that was perfectly fine and after that point the placenta takes over.  Obviously there are exceptions to this, but that's what it was for me.

I stopped (and I think most people stop) at 10-11 weeks.

I stopped at 12 weeks exactly.  Doctor said there was no use for them after that point.

ETA:  I was on the pills, though, not the suppositories.
