...can I find an old post I made? I tried using the search feature, but it either doesn't work or I'm doing it wrong.

I don't think there's a way which is LAME.  You can find your most recent posts (like, 3 or 4) by clicking on your name in this thread but you're probably wanting to go back further than that, huh?  :-

Way lame! Yeah, it's an older post and I feel like a dumba$$ for not saving the link for when I was ready for it. And don't want to be a lamea$$ and ask again.

If you know what you're looking for, a google search can work pretty well.

There's a link near the bottom of the green column on the left that says "My Posts".

It'll contain any threads you've started or replied to. 

But I don't know how far it goes back...or how old the post is that you're looking for.

You can go to My Discussions

This should give you all the posts you wrote and replied to. Then you can look for the ones you specifically posted.

Thanks...it was too old, but I'm glad to know about this function. Luckily I was able to google it and find it, but this function is good to know!

No the post was from May, and I found it on a google search because even when I switched the dates, it didn't go past 2 months. Maybe it was being finicky when I tried it.
