Combining and freezing BM

If I pump at 10am and get 2 ounces and refrigerate it, and pump again later in the day and get 3 ounces, can I combine those into one storage bag and freeze it as 5 ounces? Or do I need to keep it separate? It sure would save money on bags if I could do that!

Refridgerate the second pumping session and then you can add it to the first.  You can do this until you get a full bag, then freeze.  As long as the milk is the same temperature, you can add it together.

It was actually found out not too long ago that you don't have to have the same temperature when mixing the milk. Just make sure you mark the date as the oldest you are mixing it with.
