Looking for a dentist...

My very good friend just took her 4 1/2 year old to the dentist and found he had NINE cavities!

I'm super paronoid now and want to get DS to a dentist ASAP.

Any recommendations for a pediatric dentist?

she is by memorial city mall... she and her staff did fantastic with maddy, and maddy does not take to strangers and/or doctors well... i was amazed!

To be honest, if I were her, I'd get a second opinion. 

 When I had really good dental insurance I went to a dentist on the plan (not on recommendations, bad idea) and she knew that the insurance would cover everything and told me I needed like 6 root canals or something crazy!   

 I called the insurance and told them this lady was crazy and I wanted a second opinion.  I did need one root canal but definitely not 6.   That was 10 years ago and I've never needed another root canal, so it's obvious she was crazy and money hungry!
