If lightning strikes the house while you are in the bathtub will you get electrocuted or did my dad make this up. I want to go take a bubble bath but there is a biitching storm going on.

if lightning strikes YOU while you're in the bathtub, maybe. But I don't see how it striking your chimney could electrocute you if you're in the tub.

I was in the tub the other night when a storm came through. I always thought you were fine as long as you weren't in running water so I was scared to shower off after my bubble bath. I stayed in the tub until the storm passed.

I just saw the biggest lightning bolt I have ever seen in my life that couldn't have been that far off based on the thunder. Eff the tub, I'm hiding in the closet.

Aww, don't be scared! I think thunder is beautiful and super relaxing. You should pull up a chair and just watch the show!

I agree. I am a huge fan of a good thunderstorm, the louder the better but this is some crazy burn-your-house-down shiit.
