s/o DH's being ready

My ILs got married when MIL was 19 and FIL was 20.  She gave birth 5 times (1 infant death) and was done with kids by the time she was 25.

Is it any wonder DH wants them so close together?

If the middle one had survived, they all would have been about a year apart.  DH and his closest brother are 51 week apart.

Dh's aunt had 4 under 5 and that included 2 miscarriages.. 1 before the oldest and 1 between the 3rd and 4th i think

I have 6 first cousins.  Six.  And four of them I haven't seen in almost 10 years because we don't consider our welfare-grubbing, cigarette-smoking, kid-having-but-not-taking-care-of, jobless, woe is freaking me "uncle and aunt" part of the family anymore.

If it makes you feel any better, DH is one of six.  The first 5 were in 7 years.  He and his brother are 13 months apart.  He readily admits that he doesn't know how he and his brothers and sisters didn't drive his mom insane when they were kids.

DH's grandmother used to remind me all.the.time that she had 3 kids by the age of 21. I think she was 17 or 18 when they got married.
