SIL is dissapointed that her son (my nephew) is too young for mutton-busting in the rodeo. 

Well of course he is too young, he is only 2.5 years old.  Frick she is the stupidest woman I have ever met.  At 2.5 there is no way he would be able to hold on to a freaking sheep.  Maybe I am out of line but I am annoyed that she even considered it.

For those who don't know mutton busting is little 3-6 year olds riding sheep, and seeing how long they can hold on (helmets are used)

 Good news is DH and I have Nephew for the weekend, which will be fun.

I love watching mutton busting!  It is so darn cute - we saw a little boy a few years back who was totally amazing.  It is so fun to watch them and watch these big crowds cheer for  them.

Its pretty fun to watch. They're always wearing helmets though, I don't know where that girl was, but I've always seen them in helmets. Some will have little chaps on too with elbow and knee pads.

It is hilarious and cute to watch, and I would let my kids do it... in 3-4 years.  No way should a 2.5 year old be trying to hang on to a running sheep.

The mutton busting is cute, and good for a laugh, but I just think 2.5 is too young.  Evidently so do the Rodeo organizers.  I am just annoyed that my SIL doesn't have the common sense that God gave a fly.
