Hi girls!
I am just begining to surface from feedings, sleep when I can get it, etc. Tyler was born on Friday the 23rd at 6pm. He weighed 9lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long. I ended up being enduced because my blood pressure spiked really high on Thursday. They gave me the gel to help my cervix and I began to have contractions right away. I labored like that from 230 pm until 12 midnight when they gave me pitocin and the contractions intensified. Around 9am they broke my water to get things moving and gave me an epidural at the same time. I labored as long as I could without meds but they were off the charts intense and I was so darn tired after all those hours. Needless to say, not an easy birth (or anywhere near my birth plan) but Im very happy with the outcome and am so in love with my new little man!! He's so sweet, a great sleeper, and although its taken a few days I think we might have the hang of this bfeeding thing. Im going to try and squeeze in a nap now. Pics to come soon.
