I clicked to THIS article from FB and happened to glance at the comments...here is the first one:
"haha- too funny. The worst thing I have done in recent months- told Andrew I was going to rip his _ _ _ _ ing face off. I couldn't believe I had said it- and niether could he! I felt awful and apologized immediatley but still. Yikes! He has been pretty well behaived since though- I must have scared him as much as I scared myself!!"
Are you KIDDING me? That's not FUNNY. Apologizing is not enough, this is INSANE. I have really lost my shiit with Riley before and been pissed, and have NEVER said anything CLOSE to this, never threatened her at all. Wow.
Re: This is NOT funny, and you are a shiity mom.
I don't care how mad you are, that is unacceptable and not something that you just say to your child!
Good thing he has been so well behaved, youhave now terrified your child , please come and accept your mother of the year award.

I also think this one is weird:
"Although I have been guilty of doing almost everything on the list at one time or another,the thing I am most guilty of is keeping my son indoors instead of having him go outside and playing with the annoying neighborhood kids. I hate the way my son acts after he spends a day with the kids (he's usually extremely hyper and screams like a banshee) so I often tell him it's "too hot" to go out or that "the guy" will come if he goes outside. I know it's bad and I shouldn't do it but I spent 5 years raising him to be a polite child and there is NO WAY I'm going to let some kids ruin all that hard work!"
Is she saying that someone will come kidnap him if he's outside? Way to give your kid a complex.
Also completely robbing him of a childhood. If he is young enough to fall for "it's too hot" and "the guy", he probably should be spending at least a little time screaming like a banshee.
Still, not as bad as threatening to rip your kids face off.
I'll admit, I chuckled a bit at the article, especially the eating the kid's scraps like a dog (I've NEVER done that....
)
But ripping your kid's face off? Not cool. I wouldn't say that to an adult I don't even know, much less my kid.
