I was gonna say this- I used to lurk there because the ladies are all awesome and made me laugh, but it's been very quiet of late.

I've been around since before this site was invented, literally.

The thing that makes these boards great, different ... the thing that keeps people coming back ... IS the snark. The entertainment value. The thing that separates TB from babygaga or cafemom or a billion other sites that are EXACTLY THE SAME.

Since MeMo was created, 12-24 is deadsville because all the snarky ladies have moved on. I can't imagine slower traffic is what the bump gods wanted, and there will always be people who come for the 1902371908 sippy cup questions ... but I don't understand wanting to change the "tone" of the message boards.

Maybe I'm just not keeping up with the times. 

And I miss the ONYD board, the end.

I agree with all of this. I have been on the boards since 2005 and it is the same sh!t different day. Honestly, a lot of the boards are nicer than way back when.
