He might have thrown a fit and thus been allowed to pick out his own clothes.  I know my sister and I both went through a stage like that when we were about that age.

I thought that first, but then looking at it its sort of matchy. You know with all the black and white going on.

When I was a kid and got to pick my own outfits it was usually the most colorful loud pieces in my closet.

No it looks like they are at a park/pond and there are two geese or ducks or some sort of bird in front of them.

Um no.  Even if they were going through a stage where they had to pick out their own clothes, they would never be dressed like Liam, mainly because we would never own any pants like that.

This, exactly. They have to own the clothes first to be able to pick them out and that outfit wouldn't make it into my house.
