The whole experience was disappointing with the exception of reassurance that baby's hb was still there.
1) Appt was at 7:15a. Instructed to drink 32oz of water 1 hour before appt. Somehow there was a mixup and the person who checked in after me was called in first. My husband went up to complain (although was polite enough to stand in line before doing so). But still had to wait until that other patient was done before they'd see me because the tech had already started! I literally started crying in the waiting room because I didn't know how much longer I could keep my bladder from bursting. Finally called in at 8:05ish.
2) Last time I was there I was placed in a room with a wall mounted flat screen and saw the entire thing. That tech was friendly. This time there was no talking whatsoever, there was not wall mounted screen, and I couldn't see the tech's screen at all during measurements, etc. Plus will have to wait til my appt with OB tomorrow to find out results about measurements, etc.
3) DH wasn't called in until tech was done with measurements. This was nearly 45 minutes later! AND gender guess was inconclusive because baby's legs were tucked. Tech didn't attempt to get baby to move into another position. She thinks it's a boy, but I still think it's a girl. Ah well. Looks like we'll be team green for now.
4) The pics that tech chose to print out... waste of paper. Couldn't really distinguish anything from the u/s pics.
