So here's what they asked me. I don't know if it's different b/c they know me, but I told you I'd share

1. How would you differentiate a math lesson for children with special needs?

2. What is your discipline plan? How would you handle a child hitting another student?

3. What would your classroom look like if I walked into it?

4. Tell me about a lesson you differentiated.

5. Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years (principal's question)?

6. Describe how you would structure your literacy block.

7. Tell us about yourself.

8. What's your biggest pet peeve? 

9. Is there anything you wished we asked you but didn't?

10. Do you have any questions for us?

 

There was one other one, after the principal's question, that I can't remember. HTH!

Ah, I remembered another one:

How do you deal with changes in your schedule?

That might have been the one the other interviewer asked. There were 7 people on the committee, and some asked more than one question. 

And (lol)

How do you deal with parents at the extreme-- helicopter parents who want to be involved in the classroom all the time, and those who want constant communication with you?

The principal also mentioned that there would be a mandatory website updating for the classroom, and I mentioned that I would be using a blog to communicate with the parents as well.

those sound about like the ones I have been asked in the past too.

how did you answer about the literacy block? that one always gets me because that's not really how we did stuff when i student taught and then i have really only taught kindergarten.  i have been trying to work out an answer that doesn't scream.. yeah i have no clue yet ha.

the list my MIL gave me has them asking biggest strength and biggest weakness, and i freaking at that question.
