- what is your nationality/race? Race is black, Nationality is West Indian, all my family is from Grenada and Trinidad

- do you think people "guess" correctly? Hardly ever, they always guess Dominican

- did you marry someone from a different nationality/race? No, DH's family is from Haiti we are both 1st generation americans

- if you have a kid, who/what do they look like? and for those ku with #1- who/what do you think they'll look like? I have pretty strong genes (prominent nose, hazel eyes, big head) most of my cousins and I look very similar so we will see if this holds true

I am really light skinned and I am always asked if I am mixed (black and white), but I am 100% black. My grandfather was mixed black and white...I think that is where the light skin comes from.

No, hubby is black too. He is darker than me.

I think our child will be a mix of the both of us. I am not sure fo complexion, our baby could be any shade.

- Pakistani - race would be Asian or Middle Eastern

- people assume I am Hispanic or of Latin American descent

- DH is caucasian, with Welsh roots

- my dark hair, hopefully DH's eyes, skin tone kind of inbetween (DH burns easy, and I would rather LO not)

I am also mixed. Half PuertoRican and half Mexican

Everyone thinks I am a white girl becuase my skin is lighter and I have green eyes but I look like my family...except they are all way darker and have black hair and brown eyes, except my mom who has green.

Yes I married a German/Irish - Light skin, grey eyes, red hair!

I am actually excited to see how baby #1 looks! My husband and I look so different it is weird to think of all the combos! This we do know...the baby will have either green or grey eyes. I think I am just excited about that.
