I feel like I have not been on in forever. I have been lurking from my phone while waiting for Mya at the camp bus stop, but it is definitely not the same. (Does anyone know how I can post from the droid?) The in laws left on Tuesday and I now feel like a million dollars. Their demands were getting out of control.
Ava is giving Josh a run for his money because she won't let him feed her. We had to hold off on him working on it while his parents were here since it was very stressful, but we have picked up baby lessons. I told him that she can sense his nervousness and he needs to relax, but it is easier said than done.
Ava will not stop pooping. As a result, she has a really bad diaper rash that will not go away even with soaking after each bowel movement, airing her out, tons of triple paste (recommended by the doctor's office since Butt Paste and Desitin was not working, and putting vasaline on with the triple paste. She is only bothered by it when she needs to soak or be wiped with water and a face cloth.
Mya is also doing so much better. I can't believe what she is now willing to do. She is definitely not the same girl that looks like a deer in the headlights. Mya has been coming home and singing all of her camp songs to Ava and wonders where Ava is if she is not in the car when I have to pick her up.
Re: Waving hello!!!
Poor Ava! I hope her poor little butt gets better soon! That is just awful.
Its good to hear that Mya is doing well with the adjustment. I can't imagine how difficult it must be when she has been an only child for so long.

Glad to hear that the IL's are gone and I hope that little Ava feels better soon. It is nice to "see" you around here!

That's so cute that Mya sings to Ava
To post from the Droid: open your browser, push the menu button, go to settings, and uncheck the 'enable javascript' box. Some websites don't work with java disabled though so you might have to enable it again when you go to other sites. I usually just disable it right before I reply to a message, then enable it again after. It's kind of a pain but that's the only way I know how to do it. I wish the nest would make a mobile version of the site!!
