really stupid question (I promise)

I read in WTEWYE that the babies have grown hair on their heads by now. At our last u/s (12w2d) their skull plates were still very separated (it actually looked like Baby A's brain was just floating there). Have their skull plates started moving toward each other yet or are they just growing hair in the skin that covers their heads?

I know they are born with a small skull opening/softness but I have no idea when their heads become more (for lack of a better description) closed.

Hair grows on the skin.  That's completely independent of the skull bones!

hmmm. this is what I thought. I wonder if the babies will still look like skeletor then this week or if they'll look more like babies? Thanks crystal!

IMO, they totally look like skeletor any time they are face-on on the u/s.  The eye sockets are just creepy.  Do you watch Bethenny GM?  She totally said the same thing at the u/s shortly before she delivered.
