Hawaii Babies

want to hear something funny?

Other mamas (on the Bump boards and IRL) often say to me that they couldn't imagine having twins and how hard it must be. True that it's not a cakewalk, but this morning while I was feeding and changing the boys, I thought to myself, "OMG I'm so glad we had twins! I can't imagine having to take care of a baby if we had a toddler - it would be SO hard...at least right now they basically have the same needs at the same time - having a toddler who ate or napped at different times would be crazy hard!"

LOL so how about that? I think you ladies are all super moms because I really do think that having a 2-3 year old plus a baby would be way harder than twins! Big Smile

  • You are so right! You will have to let us know in a few years when the boys are running around and you're trying to put the new little ninja to sleep Big Smile

    LMAO soooo not happening! I have plans to get Ben fixed as soon as I can tell him we're going to Disneyland, then blindfold him and drop him off at the doctor's office...

    Maybe I should try this for Ryan after we have a few kids :) Good thought!

    I agree though, I'm wondering WTF do I want more for, how the heck will I do it? Get multiple kids in car seats and take them to the grocery store? Guess we'll just order take out! :) Now I know why they make those kid leashes!

    So true! You've gotten it over and done with in one pop :-). Your hitting 2 birds with one stone!!

  • I'm not super, I'm just crazy.

    It's like when my elder daughter goes up to my baby daughter and gives her the biggest cuddle ever and I go "Awwwww, I'm gonna melt and drown in all this beautifulness...!" but then I notice she's cuddling the baby by the neck and slowly strangling her and I go "Oh. She's loving on her but she's strangling her...". So, you're immersed in love but going "Arghhhhhh!' at the same time!

    *Takes a breath*

    LOL =)

    You're still a super mom to me cuz I don't know what I'd do with two right now, although I can see how it would be harder to deal with two with such separate needs...unless you space them far enough apart!
