6+ Board Update

We haven't done one of these in a while and my memory isn't what it used to be so let's hear how everyone is doing.

This month is still a break for me - had genetic counseling, a new SA for DH, and a hysteroscopy to prepare for IVF.  Next cycle they will monitor me and then the IVF clinical trial will probably be the following cycle in September.  Hopefully we still have a shot on our own before that happens.

I *still* haven't got AF since my m/c. I'm on prometrium right now to try and bring AF on, and then will be doing a round of 150mg clomid.

I'm at the end of first of two on our own cycles - and predicting AF here by Friday or Saturday. we're regrouping next month to make plan of what's next (probably meds/IUI in September and a possible timeline for signing up for an adoption agency of somesort.)

I'm still TTA until the end of this year/beginning of 2011 due to our impending move to L.A. in September.

Still waiting for my first post D&C AF to arrive. I have an appt on the 5th to check my HCG level and if I'm back to zero, they will call me in so we can start testing... So we are TTA until we get those results.

Oh, and I'll be turning 30 in September which makes me feel like and all at the same time. I just love all the "after 30" pregnancy statistics!

Finishing up our Gonal-F injections today or tomorrow, and triggering after that. Lovenox injections and Prog. Supp. until we know if we were successful this cycle or not.

Lap/hyst surgery to remove septum, check for endo, look at tubes, and make sure uterus isn't bicornate on Aug 6th.

Just finished up our first cycle trying again (post loss #2).  AF is here, so we were not successful.  The good news is that the prometrium worked for my pre-AF spotting, so at this point, I'm calling that progress.

We'll just keep trying and hope that we see a +HPT soon.

Great Idea!

I am in the middle of IVF cycle #3.  I started my stims on Saturday and will be back in for a follie check tomorrow.  My ER should be around August 3rd and hopefully a 5 day transfer around August 8th.  We are only transferring 1 embryo this time in hopes of preventing what happened with the twins.  So fingers crossed ladies!!!

I am right there with ya!  I turn 30 in January...and I totally HATE all the statistics!

Thanks for posting this, I love reading updates on everyone. 

I'm still waiting for AF to show up after my m/c, it's been 5 weeks.  The dr said we can jump right in with another 100mg clomid and IUI cycle.  But, I'm considering taking a break.  I don't know.  My mind changes every other day.

I had my consult with the RE to get the ball rolling. SA is done, just waiting for cycle #10 to end to do day 3 blood work and schedule another hsg. 

Even if I get pg this cycle it would give me a due date 5 days past my 35th birthday and I would be considered of advanced maternal age (according to my midwife).  I'm not really a fan of falling into this new category.

I'm finishing up my first post m/c AF. I have my HSG on August 4th. I'm in referral hell where my current RE can't continue my care. My regular Dr. is trying to get me in with a new RE that does OB care (and can do my IUIs) but my insurance kicks it back to my original RE. It's a nightmare. 

Whenever it gets cleared up, I will have the repeat loss testing, and once I have the results, I will start prepping for IUI. Who knows how long that will take with the way things are going.

We're on our first TTC cycle since the last m/c (took a break for testing and recovery from April - now).  Thanks to my recent diagnosis of PCOS, I'm on Metformin, and we're doing a Clomid, Ovidrel trigger, timed intercourse cycle.  I'm currently on CD 5, go in for a follie check on Saturday.

I am on my first cycle after my ectopic.  The pathology on my one remaining tube indicated that the hole in it was on the outside, so it should be fully functional.  We're doing Clomid + Trigger + IUI this round.  I go for my 1st follicie check on Monday.  Hoping to do the IUI a week from Friday.  This is the combination that finally worked (after 18 months of trying)....so I'm really hoping that it doesn't take that long this time.

My OB says that he'll do 2 more IUIs then he's sending me to an RE to start down the IVF road.

I am 6 DPO and waiting to test.  I don't have high hopes this cycle - we only FWP once two days before O, and I didn't O until CD 26, and have convinced myself that it must have been a crappy egg.  Although this is my first O due to illness/traveling/stess since February, so I am happy about that. 

(FWIW, even though I say I am not too hopeful I keep looking at baby bedding, strollers, etc. online "just in case"...it's my version of porn.  But truth be told, I am going to be real disappointed when AF shows.)

Taking a break after our last IVF attempt failed.  And when I say "last" I mean the last chance we had at using my eggs.  Talking about using donor eggs but I'm growing concerned that DH is having second thoughts about everything so I'm giving him some space.  If he doesn't come back around I will be devastated.

I just finished my fourth round of clomid, which is working perfectly....cycles are right about 30 days instead of 40+. Which hasn't happened in over a year!

Still waiting on AF post-mc. Had a few more days of mc spotting/tissue passing a week and a half ago, so hopefully she'll be here soon.

Then TTA till about November when we may or may not do IVF.

Then when IVF fails I'm going to try to get into an NIH study on POF.

On 3rd cycle TTC since last m/c and testing.  Just taking B.A. and prenatal.   Hoping that next BFP will be my forever baby and if not, at least a referral to a RE.  I hate the wait and see method.

On a side note, I'm in the middle of moving.  I'm at the old house (supposed to be cleaning/packing/moving) on the internet.  New house is in the country... sounds like the only way to get internet is from Verizon or Att by those plug-in wireless things.. may be off and on for next week or two.  If anyone has any good recommendations please PM me!

I am getting my hormones tested this cycle.  The CD 3 results looked normal now I just have to wait to ovulate.....

DH has an appointment with a urologist on 8/11 due to his morphology issue and once we've done that my RE will submit a request for IVF with ICSI to the insurance company.   In the mean time we are still trying on our own.

cycle # 2 of TTC after m/c in May.  it's only cd 7 and this cycle already sucks, just not feeling it this month. i hope things improve by FWP week.

Waiting to ovulate. Not thinking I'll actually get pregnant this way. Continuing to try on our own for the rest of the summer. Going for first RE consult in September and then hoping to start treatments in early 2011 () because of my sister's wedding in CA next August.

AF is here today so I am officially CD1.  We are going to our next IUI if it works with our travel schedule next weekend.  But I know we will probably have to wait until next cycle because that's just the way it works for us.

so either IUI this cycle or next.  if this doesn't work then we are moving to IVF.

We are in the middle of our 6th cycle since the 2nd loss.  We are on our own because we our insurance won't pay until February.  I've been trying to get OOP costs from my RE, but his financial coordinator is a dumb whoooorrrre. 

I am about 1/3 of the way through a mind & body fertility group that I am enjoying so much that I might write a PSA post about it. And in my spare time I'm stalking craigslist for baby things I don't yet need.

After this loss dh and I had a talk. We are going to wait to about january to go with a frozen transfer. I am getting into busy time at work and it will be hard to work out dr's appts. We are going to try on our own and see what happens. Maybe we will get a miracle since they can't find any reason that we can't get pregnant on our own. Will probably do more research on adoption. I just feel so defeated right now, I feel like it's never going to happen for us.
