How long did you wait to test after HCG injection?

Hello ladies!

I received the HCG injection on 7/19 and I am currently 9 days passed the injection and 7dpo. I took a HPT this morning and had a faint positive. Do you think it picking up the HCG left over from the injection?

 

Also, has anyone got a real BFP 9 days passed injection?

    I think it can linger for up to 12-14 days, I would wait until you're 14 dpo to get an accurate test

    It has to be left over 7dpo is too soon for a BFP, but stranger things have happened. Mine took about 7-9 days to leave my system!

    Thanks! I figured it was the shot still lingering. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. It's just so hard to wait! I am so dang impatient.

    I think it's going to be hard for anyone to know if they had a true bfp at 9 days past trigger, unless they tested the trigger out and had a negative at like 7 or 8 days.  The earliest I tested was 12dpiui and got a very faint bfp.

    This was my first month doing the hcg trigger. I wish I would have tested it out to know for sure. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20, right? I'll know what to expect for the upcoming months if this month isn't it.

    Implantaion doesn't happen until 7-10dpo, so it is way to early for it to be real. Probably still the trigger and most don't test until 14dpo if you aren't testing it out.

    I had a beta done at 9 days past injection at it came back at 7.  I am not sure yet but I have a feeling it was just left over from the shot.  I would wait until you are 12DPO, 14 days past injection to test again.

    Mine took 8 days to not be seen on the test.  Since I did it with my first IUI I tested it out till it was negative, so that if it was a + I would know for sure.

    My RE told me it would be out of my system after 10 days on average.

    I didn't test mine out either, and it's taking all I've got to wait til 14dpo to test.

    At 10 I had a negative test and on day 12 I had a positive.  Good luck, but i think you should test again in 3-4 days.

    I kept taking them (internet cheapies) around 11 DPO and onward... I noticed they were getting darker not much and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. went for a blood test on 17 DPO came back + GL
