Recommend an OB in Wellesley

Could someone please recommend on OB in the Wellesley area?  Preferably one associated with Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  My husband and I received the happy news of a positive test on Monday from my regular PCP.  Now we are on the search for a great OB.

Dr. Karie Lin Devries delivered my son and she will deliver our next child due this fall.  I've been very happy with her and the rest of the OBs in the practice.  It is called Wellesley Women's Care and the website is https://www.careforwomen.com/. They are located at Newton-Wellesley. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes awhile to get test results back if everything is OK (but maybe that is a common issue with OBs?).

I also highly recommend Wellesley Women's Care at Newton Wellesley Hospital.  I see Dr. Thomas Beatty, who is also Chair of the OB/GYN department for the hospital.  Also, as the previous poster said, Dr.Karie De Vries is wonderful too.  She delivered my friends baby and I've seen her for routine visits when Dr. Beatty was on vacation. 

My husband and I have been extremely happy with the care we've received. I say we because they've gone out of their way to make my husband feel included in the process. Dr. Beatty always takes a moment to chat with him and ask if he has any questions. 

Since this is a group, they have you see all the doctors at least once in your third trimester. This is so you'll have met everyone should another doctor be on call when you deliver.

No personal experience yet (I'm switching my provider currently), but I have heard great things about Women's Health Associates (https://www.womenshealthassoc.com/). They have more midwives than OBs, depending upon what you're looking for. Good luck!

I'm another huge fan of Wellesley Womans Care and I see Dr DeVries as well. I also have been seen by Dr Beatty and Dr McKinnon delivered my daughter. They are a fantastic practice!

 I see her too. 

 I actually didnt see any of the others at my routine appts.  I did see Dr. Beatty once for an emergency checkup (dehydration and accelerated pulse at 37weeks-scary) and he was wonderful.   Dr.  Newton-Cheh delivered my daughter and was excellent during my little hysterical moment at hour 3 of pushing .

Another option is Harvard Vanguard in Wellesly.  I see Dr. Lori Wroble, and she is associated w/ Newton Wellesley.  So far my experience has been nothing but positive!

We delivered our first son at Wellesley Womens Care. Dr Thomas Beatty is amazing. I agree with the PP. However, we had some complications after our son. Dr McKinnon was our primary OB and found that during and after our delivery we were not happy with her. She was not good in am emergency situation. However, we found Dr Beatty was amazing and gave us all the reassuarnce and comfort that we needed. He really went out of his way to make things right. He would come to our room, sit with us, and answer all of our questions and ease our worries. We really found him to be the best. Dr. Devries was good as well.

I also have also delievered at Newton-Wellesley , through Wellesley Woman's Care.  I am currently expecting my second child.They are fantastic! My OB is Dr. Virginia Simmons, I had complications during my first pregnancy and she was wonderful, and has been very thorough and supportive during my second pregnancy I have had appointments with most doctors in that practice and have a positive experience. I would also say that Dr. Robinson who works in Maternal Fetal medicine is also wonderful, I believe he also delivers at Brigham.
