Positive OPK, while pregnant?

So, I have heard the you can take an ovulation test while you are pregnant, and it can read positive. I just got my bfp on a hpt, and thought I would give it a shot, but the opk was negative, or well it was the darkest negative I have ever seen.

 I know that opks and hpts do almost the same thing when looking for the hormones, and I have done a lot of reading so I know that it's possible to get a positive on an opk. But have any of you ever taken an opk after getting your bfp? If so, was it positive, or negative?

Awesome, Thank you so much, It makes sense! Since I just barely got my bfp(yesterday) and it was faint, so reading that is kind of a relief! It says that it's not as sensitive, so maybe in a few more days, it will be a bold positive!  *crossing fingers*

I definitely had negative OPKs right after my positive HPT, because my level was still low. After about a week after my first positive HPT, the OPKs were undoubtedly positive.

I took 2 a couple days after my bfp and they were positive. Yesterday I decided to take one and it was crazy positive. The darkest purple you can imagine imediately before the other even came up. it was fun.
