Wishing I had known about these before today

DS is turning out to be quite picky especially when it comes to veggies. Bought some of these at Trader Joes today and both kids sucked them down on the ride home. Despite my efforts, DS' only veggie intake these days comes from Naked Juice Green Machine so I'm glad to have another way to get some carrots in him.

Just thought I'd share...these are a winner of a snack for my kids at least!

On another note, I freaking love Trader Joes!!!

  • apple carrot crushers are DD#2's ONLY source of carrots. Ditto the love for TJ's!

  • My boys LOVE them too and they are super picky eaters!  I have never told them that they have carrots in them.  I just said that the squeeze applesauce comes in green packages AND orange packages :)

  • I need to hit Trader Joe's again soon.  We recently discovered the Revolution Foods Fruit Mashups and C loves those.  We took a bunch of them with us on our recent trip to Disneyland and used them as treats for him (it also worked to bribe him to eat his PB sandwich when he was being picky).

  • My DD sucks down a smoothie with peas, carrot, and tonight, califlower every night. I can't belive people pay $1.25+ for Revolution Foods Fruit Mashups for 4 oz of fruit.  I do buy the apple sauce sometimes for car rides and such, but even that at $2.50 for 16 oz, makes me a little ill.

See Joe, my kids will do smoothee's for awhile and then they won't touch them for awhile.  For awhile I was making a fruit smoothee and adding fresh spinach and they would chug it but now, not so much.

These mashers are pricey but they are very convenient!!

  • I bet you could freeze them for a frozen treat, too! Yum!
