TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Sorry - been sort of MIA

I have been lurking a little and trying to keep up with everyone, but I haven't had time to post the past few days.

Yesterday we had our genetic counseling and it went well.  So far there is nothing in our backgrounds that increase our risks.  One of test results from the old RE is missing so the new RE's office is trying to track that down.  If they can't find it, then I'll just do them again.  They have a few other things that they test for that the other office didn't so I have to some more b/w anyway.  They also did another SA for DH which included some things the other office didn't do.  I hope maybe these tests will give us some answers.

I finally got my offer letter for the new job so I'll be giving notice soon.  So now I actually am doing stuff at work trying to wrap stuff up before that happens so I can get out of there as quickly as possible.

Hope everyone is doing well!

  • everyone needs a little bump break.....totally understand! :)

I'm so happy about your new job.....I know you can't wait to get out of your current one.  but I'm even happier to hear about how things are going with the new RE.  I hope all falls into place and the trial IVF works!

let us know when you give notice!

  • Sounds like the new RE is being really thorough which is awesome!    That is GREAT about the official offer, I hope you love your new job!  It can be scary making the change but I bet it will be a fantastic change!

Yah, I've been on less and less because the error messages are really frustrating, combined with work keeping me really busy.......don't need to be getting fired!  LOL
  • That all sounds pretty positive! Any idea when the IVF process starts in earnest? (I apologize if you've brought this up in other posts, it's been hard for me to keep up lately).
