Tommee Tippee Bottle Warmer

Hello,

I just wanted to see how much water you put in the bottle warmer. OMG duh the first time I used it I was so out of it I didn't even read the part that said put in water. Anyways it says "fill water 1/2 below water line" what does that mean. The milk line of the bottle? I don't see a line or marker in the warmer. I've just been filling it to about the amount of formula in the bottle.

Also once you warm the formula is it done for the day or can you refrigerate the rest? Thanks.

I was confused by their directions as well.  When we use it, we just put the water up to the level of milk/formula.  I never leave it in as long as they say because it gets too hot.

I'm not sure about your second question....my gut is telling me that once it's heated up, you use it or lose it.

  • Their directions confused me too. I just fill it half way.

Also, once you heat the formula/breast milk, I think you have to use it within 30min- 1 hour. I can't remember where I read that but that is the rule I use.

  • Thank you both for your comments. I also only leave it in there for a minute or two.
