fiber question

I am very constipated since I started Zofran.  I take colace daily but is there any over the counter fiber products that you know are safe?  I dont get my safe list from the dr. until next week.  TIA!!

Try a high-fiber cereal, like Frosted mini wheats or raisin bran and plenty of fluids.  If you are already taking the colace you might need some natural fiber.  Most laxatives are no-nos for pregnancy.

I have hypothyroidism, and am very prone to being constipated.  IVF treatments and pregnancy have made it worse!

My doctor suggested colace and Fiber Choice tablets.  They work great!  I take the max (6) of the orange "Most Fiber" each day.  It has made things much smoother.

I eat two packs of Quaker Oats high fiber oatmeal everyday... keeps me regular.

Oh, and as much as it's hard to keep liquids down (for me), I think that's really necessary--dehydration makes constipation worse.

i eat oatmeal and salads everyday.  try and put more fiber in your diet, my H loves those fiber one bars.

I used to eat these bars I would get in the pharmacy section at Meijer called Fibars.  They were really tasty and did the trick!

 This is on the "safe medication" list my OB gave me. I take the maximum of six a day!! A life saver!
