Temp dropped AFTER AF leaves?

This is weird - just wondering if anyone has had anything like this happen -
My LP was long this month - AF didn't arrive until 17 dpo (my average is 11-12) during that time, I had really high temps, nausea, and major fatigue. I also got a BFN 14 dpo. =-( When AF arrived, she was very, very scant - and my temps were still up. I'm now on CD5, and my temp just dropped today. Color me confused... any thoughts?
