Give me your best unique boy names

My friend is looking for very unique boy names. She likes name such as Trevin and Kalex.

Re: Give me your best unique boy names

  • If we have a boy we're naming him Uriah. Runners up were Treyton, Lucan, Asen and Alarik.

  • Trevin is ok.

Kalex reminds of Latex or Kotex.  I think it sounds like a brand name of something.

  • Unique or made up? Name Berry might be a good source for her.

  • Nutter? :-( is that a first name ?

I think its easier to determine unique names after you pinpoint what you like... such as a particular meaning or name origin.

  • KeriMichael reminded me...my brother-in-law was named Ren (Japenese) and we have friends with a little boy named, Ziggariah (big Marley fans). One unique and one made up.

  • My best friend and I both really like Greek names, so fairly uncommon or unique here. She is naming her son Lux. A couple of my favs are Calix (which I assume is close to the one she likes) and Caius (although I learned proper pronunciation of this is keys, so i would be saying it incorrectly by saying cai-us). A couple others I have that are slightly more uncommon are Jace, Adriel, Rylan and so-help-me I like True for a boy.

I LOVE Alaric!  (The Visigoth ruler spelling preferred).

  • Not a joke, sorry. I had no idea my friend would like such unique names...I am trying to help her as best as I can.

How are you pronouncing Uriah? I read it as ur-e-a....like the compound in urine

  • Instead of Trevin what about Trevor or Travis? Not as unique, but maybe she will consider them anyway?

Kalex is harder... what about Kai, Kevin? Kevin is kind of like Trevin, too...

Super unique is hard for me... most of these are not thaaat super unique.... here goes, though:

Orion, Silas, Zion, Leonidas, Adric, Boaz, Duncan, Gage, Gareth, Karsten, Jarett, Jett, Otto, Tobias, Vaughn, Zeke, Zane

  • I think every post that I've made on here has included these names. I am definently scandinavian influenced :)

Soren, Axel, Tryggve, Per, Bjorn, Eben, and Peder are some of my favorites. I think they are pretty unique.
