Long, firm, and closed. Apparently, like many of you said, BH are just my normal for this pregnancy, and to only worry if I start having them while I'm laying down.
I had a terribly irritable uterus with my twins. I did experience cervical changes around 27 weeks with my very mild contractions, so I'm glad it seems your doctor will be keeping a close eye on you. Take it easy!
So glad to hear all is well! Everything I've been told is that BH are so much more common with twins. I started having them around 20 wks and they haven't stopped. Like you, I usually get them with any type of activity - standing up, bending over, walking, etc. Sometimes I will have a few when just lying down, and they are also much more frequent at night. But, I've just learned that my uterus is really sensitive/irritable and they're not changing my cervix, so I try not to worry. They did get stronger as the weeks went on, but never painful. Sometimes they just feel like I'm being squeezed by a boa constrictor around my uterus & lungs, which is odd! And they are never regular - which is another big key.
I'm so glad you went to the dr. to get checked out. Better safe than sorry. They do get annoying, so I'm sorry you have to put up with them, but hang in there!
