I have been reading posts on The Bump for a short time, but I thought I would start posting! I am 12 weeks and 5 days along, and so excited! I do have one question... how do you know what all of the abbreviations mean? I can figure out MIL is mother in law, and things like that... but what is DH and DD and DS? Is there some sort of glossary? My apologies if this is listed somewhere obvious. I am already suffering from "pregnancy brain."
Re: Hi
DH = dear husband, DD, daughter, and DS, son.
Some other common ones I can think of -
TIA - thanks in advance
BF - breastfeeding
BM - breastmilk
FF - formula feeder
I'm sure there are a million more others may add :-). Congrats and welcome!
congratulations on your little on on the way! it's such an exciting time.
i still don't know all of the abbreviations, and there is a glossary somewhere, but i always have a hard time finding it. people are really cool and will tell you what it means if you ask.
good luck
