Halloween ( I know it's early..)

I was just wondering if anyone had any fun ideas for twin boys for Halloween.  I've started looking at sites online but havent come across a site that gives costumes for twins.  I am trying to think of something fun that I dont have to make.  Just wondering what others have done.

BTW: my boys will be turning 1 the week before Halloween....

Thanks!

Re: Halloween ( I know it's early..)

  • i already bought 2 costumes for halloween already, lol.

we do a family costume- figure we'll do it the next few years while we can- before our kids get embarrassed by it :) it's fun!

last year we were all yo gabba characters.

This year we're all being Toy Story characters.

they aren't unique- but it's fun and everyone loves seeing us all dressed in theme together.

  • Warning 1st: I am a dork.

I am planning on dressing DD as a pea and DS as a carrot.  From Forrest Gump "We go together like peas and carrots"

However, my aunt wants me to dress DD as a plain m&m and DS as a peanut m&m.  One w/ nuts one w/out... get it?  I think it is funny but it feels a little inappropriate for me to explain it to others and then the twins when they are older :)

  • My boys are going as Yoda and Darth Vader.  Last year one was a cop and one was a robber.

  • omg- lOL re: the M&Ms with nuts and not! hahaha

LOVE the cop and robber pic- soooo cute!

I think the twin costumes are so fun - but since i have 3 I like to do them together... I never want Griffin to feel left out.

  •  Oh I already started looking at baby costumes and my boys aren't even here yet!!

You only have a few years that you get to pick their costume before they start telling you no.. haha

My boys will only be 2 months but I don't care.. I've been thinking about monkeys, lions, or I saw this really cute bat costume.. I think they'll be in matching costumes.  Check out costumeexpress.com there were some cute ones at decent prices.

  • I have B/G twins they will be 7 months on Halloween and I am doing Ketchup and Mustard, just red and yellow sweatsuits making hats that look like the top of the bottles and then we are going to stencil heinz and french's on their shirts, cheesey but I'm a dork like that!
  • We are doing THing 1 and Thing 2......my mom is dressing as the Cat in the Hat so a Dr. Suess theme.  I know it's not creative but I am excited.

You could do the scare crow and the lion or the tin man from Wizard of Oz.  We did that for the girls 2nd halloween.  Kay was Glinda the good witch, Kennedy was Dorothy and L was the scarecrow.  They were so cute.

We did Thing 1 and Thing 2 last year for the girls and L was the Cat in the Hat.

This year I think we are  doing Toy Story (Buzz or Woody for L, Little Bo Peep and Jessie for the girls)  That or if I can find the 3 little Alien costumes that would be cute.  :)  Dh and I may dress up as Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head.  (Goldie, if you dont do M&Ms which I think is very funny, you could also do Potato Heads)

We have also thought about the classic costumes.  Witch, ghost, pumpkin, skeleton, black cat, scarecrow.  We all would pick one.  I think together it would be fun. May not be that creative but we havent done any of those except scarecrow from Wizard of Oz.

I LOVE Halloween.  Its my Christmas...I seriously get so excited about it.

  • Thank you all so much for your fun ideas.  I was never reallly into Halloween before and now that my twins are here, I am so excited for it.  The M&M idea with the peanut/no peanut is hilarious!!  I will also check out Halloweenexpress.com to see what they have.  LOVE the cop and robber idea (what a cute photo)

Hope everyone is enjoying their twins like I am!!!

    Thanks again!

  • I have b/g twins and we're doing a bumble bee and a flower.  I love the M&M's idea, so cute.  I've also seen bacon and eggs, which I think would be really cute.
  • I just ordered the boys' costumes last night haha.  Roman is going to be a lion and Aiden is going to be a monkey - I figured I might as well order now before my salary gets cut down when I go back to work part-time.
