but I know you girls will understand. Last weekend while camping, I fell in the fire pit (yes it takes talent and skill just to slip and fall in a fire pit with a fire that has been going for 6 hours). Well, I have second degree burns on my leg (between knee and hip and is 9 inches long, and burned my right arm. Now this is the most excruiating pain I have EVER been in, constant throbbing! I am currently ovulating, and we must have sex tonite in order to have any chance of getting pregant this cycle. The thought of it just make my stomatch ill, I am really hoping to dope up on more pain meds and just tell DH to hurry up and do not touch my leg. You know it is bad when TTC really takes over you life this much!!

Holy Crap! That must hurt like crazy! So sorry that you're all burned up! Hopefully you've got something to put on it? Or just the pain meds?

I can totally understand (as most of us here can) about not wanting to 'miss' the window of opportunity. I say, grin and bear it....but that's just me.

This may be TMI...but could you do it doggy style? That way he's not rubbing up against your leg. Big Smile

I know this doesn't make up for the pain, but, If this is your BFP (fingers crossed) it will be a funny story. . . at least between the two of you. . . maybe not something to share with non-bumpies. . .

Yes I have this sulfar type cream that i have put on it twice a day!

I had thought about doggy style, but i think being on my knees will hurt worse and my burn goes from the front of my leg to the back of my leg, not really located in good spot! I am pretty sure I will just grin and bear it!

Could you have him deposit into an Instead cup and then insert it? I've read that some people do this as sort of a homemade IUI treatment.

And I saw your post about the fall last week and your ride to the hospital - I can't even begin to understand what second degree burns feel like but I applaud your tenacity in holding onto that motorcycle while going into shock. Hope you feel better soon!

OMG! That sounds painful!

I could probably fall into a fire pit too and am actually kind of surprised it's never happened before. I'm pretty clumsy. There's not a corner of a wall in this world that I can 100% clear.

YEEEEOWWWWY! I did read your "interesting tidbit" about this a few days ago........that must've really hurt! I don't blame you for not wanted to have sex........it's no fun when you're screaming in pain. Wincing is not exactly sexy and "please don't touch me" isn't a turn-on for most men! But perhaps if DH could somehow get "almost there", either by you or himself, and then just stick it in (sorry if TMI) when he "gets there"........that may lessen the chance of irritating your burn.

I agree, it would make a great story if you got a BFP this cycle! Good luck!
