AW! I'm trying not to be that mom, but...

Bunny signed milk!

At first I wasn't sure if he was just freaking out because I was putting on clothes instead of playing, but he was lying on the bed while I was getting dressed and he cried and I said (and signed) "want mama milk?" and his little left hand made a fist and he smiled and when I picked him up he did it again and dove for my boob. Both times his right hand was relaxed, so even if it was unintentional, from now on I'm treating it like he signs. Especially since it came in between my saying/signing milk and his boob dive.

It never fails to amaze me how much early child rearing and puppy training are alike. Wink

  • That's so awesome.  Once Ds had that sign, he really used it and used it well for a long long time.  He'd even use it in the dark at night. ;)

  • That's so cool!  Do you have a book or other resource that you've used on baby sign language?  I'd love to do some reading!
