Dr's Appt

So I have been up since about 4:30 this morning because I am feeling so incredibly crampy.  I've been completely miserable feeling like I have cramps, then I'm also very nauseas and just don't feel right.  I had a Dr's appt this morning so they hooked me up to the monitor for awhile.  I'm not having any contractions and the baby seems fine but I still am feeling awful.  The Dr said that I'm still only dialated a fingertip (same as 2 weeks ago).  He did however say when he measured my belly that I haven't grown at all in the last few weeks.  He says it could possibly be her position but she is still really high up so he is having me get a growth u/s on Thursday to see what she is measuring.

I hope you feel better April!  Hopefully your body is just getting itself ready for labor with those cramps.  Do you think it could be the heat that's contributing to the the cramps / nausea since it doesn't sounds like the LO is ready to make an appearance?

I thought that it was OK if you're belly wasn't really growing at the end.  I don't think that my OB or midwife even measured my in the last few appts, but maybe that was because I continued to gain weight

I hope everything is OK and that labor will be starting for you in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone!  I took some Tylenol, curled up in bed with Rowen and put on some cartoons and my fabulous son let me take a long nap!  I felt like an awful mom napping while he was wide awake, but I so needed it.  I feel a lot better this evening so hopefully that will last.  Except I still am very nauseas and have zero appetite!  But my dad is coming to stay with me until Phoebe comes so I don't have to worry about going into labor with Chris gone. I think he was worried about me today with Chris being in Utah tonight.

Natalee- The Dr said that a lot of people won't change in size in the last couple of weeks, esp after they have dropped.  I haven't dropped so that can't be why I haven't changed.  Also I was measuring ahead every week then I just stopped at my 35 week appt.  I think he is being careful because Rowen measured small when he was born and I'm farther along then I was with him so he's just making sure she is still growing in there. And don't feel bad, I'm still gaining weight too.  I made chocolate chips cookies with Rowen like 2 or 3 days ago and I've eaten about all of them already.
