Scariest thing ever! I, of course, immediately start crying because Elle is screaming and I thought she was hurt. Luckily DH is a firefighter so he was able to access her quickly and she was fine. I seriously wanted to kill the woman who hit us. We were stopped at a stop light and she was probably going 35- pushed us all the way through the intersection. I think the loud sound scared Elle more than anything.
I have a headache from it all!
Anyone else been in an accident with LO in the car?
Re: Ugh! Got rear-ended today with DD in the car.
omg that's terrifying!!
I'm so glad everyone is okay though

I am so glad you are both okay. No accident with LO here but I was rear ended at about 35 mph too and I still have back problems from it. It is awful.
Remember now you have to replace your car seat!
On a lighter note - I love the hat on your DD in your siggy - where is it from?
Oh my gosh! You poor thing! That's terrible! We haven't been in an accident thank goodness but we were almost rear ended once and I started crying just from that close call!
I'm glad to hear you guys are alright!
Awhhhh, how awful!!! So glad you are all okay. Maybe insurance covers a new carseat too??
p.s. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your siggy pic of 'the professor' hahaha, she's so adorable with that little mustache!
I haven't been in an accident with DD but I get super annoyed with people who tailgate because I'm paranoid about being rear ended.
Glad you are all okay!
Yes, luckily we bought two car seats and never used the other so we can use that one. My dad is an ER doc, mom a pediatrician and then like I said DH is an EMT, so they all checked her out! She was like, "Stop lifting my arms above my head and give me oatmeal!!". lol.
But yes I also hate tailgaters.
It is from a local shop called Village Maternity. It is very lightweight and I love it. I would tell you the brand but I left it at MIL's house.
Oh my word! I'm so glad the lil professor is alright! I think I would have went BSC on that woman.
I got rear ended when I was 34 weeks pregnant. It was minor to the vehicle, but I went to the ER. They sent me to L&D and found out I was having contractions. Not fun.
But...the other person's insurance paid all of my medical bills and I got a small check for pain, suffering, and missed work. It helped finish the baby room.
