Hey ladies! I was just wondering what symptoms you have had after the HCG shot.
A little about me. I had AF on July 4-8, and I took 100mg clomid cd 5-9 (July 8-12.) I also take 1500mg of Metformin/day for PCOS. My fertility doctor did a sonogram on cd 13 (7/16), and another on cd 16 (7/19) and I had one 22mm follie. That day(cd 16 7/19) the doctor gave me the HCG 10,000iu trigger shot and the orders were baby dance cd () 7/19-7/22. I used the OPK's and I got my lh surge on cd 17 (7/20) and the husband and I did the bd on cd 12-17 (7/15-7/21.)
Well, around my cd 19-22 I have been experiencing cramping in my lower abdomen area, a little moodiness, really sensitive nipples (sorry if tmi), acne breakout on face, lower back pain, and extreme fatigue. Are these symptoms from the HCG shot, or could it be early pregnancy symptoms? I am due for my period August 4th, so I know it's too early for AF. Thanks in advance for your comments ladies! Baby dust to all!
Re: Symptoms after HCG trigger?
I don't have any advice for you, I just had my first HCG shot last night. The only side effect I have had so far was not being able to sleep one bit last night, but the lack of sleep could be linked to the fact that I was so freaking excited about our IUI this morning.
I hope these are pregnancy symptoms for you

I had cramping and sore nipples after each of my hcg shots.
Good luck!
My doctor did not tell me that it can cause a positive OPK. Also, my doctor said that I should be ovulating on my cycle day 17 which was the day after the HCG injection. Also, I usually ovulate around CD anyway, so this wasn't a shock to me.
This however was my very first HCG shot, and I was simply asking advice of people that have had the shot before.
As far as terminology, if you find the terms to be obnoxious you don't have to reply. I thank you for giving me something to ask my fertility specialist about though.
