lighter color areolas now that breastfeeding?

OK so my areola's got bigger and darker. Now that I'm breastfeeding my aereolas have gotten much lighter almost like my LO has sucked the color out...I know that sounds weird, but has anyone else had this happen?

    Yes...but they've kept their larger size Tongue Tied  Im hoping they'll go back to normal after bf'ing

    Yeah, but mine got SO dark during pregnancy that even though they're light-er, they are by no means light, lol.

    Yes, my nipples and areolas are much lighter now.
