Recommendations Please!

#1 Diaper bag 

So I have a skip hop diaper bag that I like, but it just isn't quite big enough. I am looking for another bag, but don't want to spend a ton of $ on it. I think the biggest problem I have with my bag is that it is super tall and not very wide, and that the pockets are all velcro and don't close all the way, so I am constantly worried about stuff falling out of it. Please recommend your affordable but roomy diaper bag.

#2 Convertable car seat

I am having some serious issues deciding on this. I love the graco infant car seat and DD will probably be able to stay in it for a bit longer, but I really need to go ahead and find another one soon. I am afraid to get something that is cheaper, but am wondering if the more expensive ones are really that much safer. Please recommend your affordable convertable car seat!

We've bought 1 Britax Roundabout so far but haven't used it.  It was such a great price for one because they are bringing out the new models in August.  Check them out on Amazon.

 And I have a Vera Bradley diaper bag.  I have 2 others but never use them.  I love the VB...I can stuff A LOT in there. I got it on Rue La La during one of their sales, but I bet you can find an older pattern for cheaper than a current pattern (around 100).

1. Diaper Bag - I don't know.  Ihave the skip hop that I liked when A. was an infant.  Now that she's a toddler, it's harder.  I think I might try to find a good back pack to use...it's easier to carry that and chase after little miss.

 

2. Car Seat - I've heard really good things about the EvenFlo.  I have a non-convertible - front only facing Graco Nautilus and I really like it. 

 

We also have a Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible.  I do like it but the strap to tighten Avery is harder to pull but I think Avery likes it because it seems more comfortable to her.  Both had decent ratings/reviews.

I have a diaper bag *kind* of like this.  It's solid black and huge.  I LOVED it when he was tiny because I could carry everything and clip it on to the stroller (a MUST).  I got it from Ebags but can't find it on the site anymore.

ETA: I know this is not a pretty diaper bag.  But I didn't care.  I just had it monogrammed with his initials.  SO many people asked me where I got it.  It was about $30-35.

1.  I also have a vera bradley diaper bag that I got from rue la la on sale.  Love it!  So much room

2. We bought the Evenflo Symphony 65 (which is a totally different seat from the Evenflo Symphony).  It can go rear facing up to 35 lbs which I like since we are planning on rear facing for a while past her first birthday, then goes till 65 lbs on forward facing, and will turn into a booster that can take them up to 100lbs.  It is so easy to get into the car, and it's roomy.  It was $200 at BRU, but I used a 20% off coupon.
